Guide price Euros 175,000

Situated on the outskirts of Vasiliki on the south of the island on a  terraced green hillside, overlooking the valley with sea view.

Set back from the main road, this very unique property has been built over the last few years to provide an Exhibition tourist attraction, as a replica of an ancient Greek Megaron (Great Hall or Throne Room) circa 1350 B.C. from the time of Homers Odyssey

At the entrance to the Megaron terrace there is a quarter circle rock built counter enclosure, covered with a temporary cane roof which is used for the provision of tickets, drinks & sales. There is also a timber built building with toilet/sink which empties into a self-regulating septic tank.
From the terrace the Megaron building is entered through double wooden doors under an open frescoed portico.
Inside there is a large 13.5m x 10m room with a central atrium approximately 7 metres high at the top of which ther is 14 wood shutttered window openings.
The structure of the building is of concrete columns, reconstituted stone block cladding externally with airbrick and insulated inner walls. To the right of the building is further terracing with a path to roof access.
